I also have lots of experience that I gathered while managing a party store for 5 years. October was always our busiest month as far as sales, but what a lot of people don't know, is how much time it takes to prepare for the month. Halloween shows are earlier in the year, then costume and ordering begins in May, so it takes some skill to predict what is going to be popular several months down the road. Doing that for years, and pulling off some of the biggest sales months in the store's that I worked for history is no small feat.
