Pumpkin Carving Patterns
What would Halloween be without a gathering of the kids and some family time bonding over carving out pumpkins to light up on the 31st of October. Growing up as a kid, and still to this day, Halloween was my favorite holiday, and I always looked forward to carving pumpkins! While the tradition still stands, pumpkin carving has come a long way from the days when I was a kid, and carving a pumpkin meant pulling out the biggest kitchen knife my mom would let me get my hands on, and seamlessly carving out triangles for eyes, and some jagged teeth in what was always a crooked mouth! Now there are lots of tools of the trade, and with them, comes the ability for even children to create what were only a dream of yesterdays youth! Check out some of these pumpkins below that kids would be able to carve out. Be sure and supervise your children during this process, while there are kits with childrens tools, it is safe to say that if it can cut a pumpkin, it can probably cut a finger!
To print out one of the patterns below (or all of them) click on the link below the pattern with the title of it, it will take you to a full size image that you can then print. If you need it larger or smaller, you can manipulate the image in an image editing program, or you could take it to your local copy shop and have it done that way! Enjoy these!
